XI CIELE-ICWEL
INTERNATIONAL CONVENTION OF WRITERS IN EUROPEAN LANGUAGES
(from the first to the seventh September, 2009)
I communicate to you that the reception for the essays is open. We will receive them from now until the 31st of December, 2008, last delay.
The essays must be about some item of literature selected from the beginning of the use of the writing communication up to the end of the year 1700 AC.
( That means until the end of the xvii century)
The themes we have already dealt with during the three last Conventions will not be taken into account.
These themes that must not be repeated are:
– The numbers as a first step into the written communication

Lina Caffarello, our ICWEL’s representative for Argentine, is distributing the Spanish version of this first information for the XI International Convention of Writers in European Languages, in her land and also in Internet. She says she will attend the XI Convention, with Elena Picsun and another Argentine writer whose first name is Susan.
I am in contact with a young singer and guitarist, to give animation to the opening of the event.
The dancing girl, Mercedes Reina, will come again. She is preparing an excursion to her native village, in the province of Granada, near Guadix. There, she will show us a grotto, which is a house built into the rock, belonging to her family. In that place, there are a lot of such houses where people are still living. They are very typical homes, unusual elsewhere. I long for seeing them
A French lady, speaking also Spanish and English, will join us as a translator.
There is also a Dutch lady living in New Jersey, America, who is willing to join us. She naturally speaks good English, and knows more than a little of Spanish.
That is the status of today. We will go on working and promoting the XI CIELE-ICWEL that will take place from the first to the seventh September, 2009.
